Silver bullion bars are available in sizes ranging from 1 oz to 1,000 ounces. Silver bullion bar investors should stick with the 100 oz silver bars, which are easier to store and handle. Be aware that the 1,000 oz silver bars could require assay if an investor decides to sell.
One advantage of purchasing the larger sized silver bullion bars is that they carry a lower premium over spot silver than the smaller sized silver bars.
