Nuggets of Gold
The largest gold nugget on public display is The Hand of Faith, which weighs 75 troy ounces (about 61 pounds and 11 ounces). This huge nugget of gold was discovered in 1980, in Wedderburn, Victoria, Australia.
Amazingly, the nugget was found only six inches below the surface and was standing in a vertical position!
